Warranty Policy

At Windscreen Repairs Parramatta we back every job we do. Our warranty cover is there to give you genuine peace of mind and confidence that the work will last.
Workmanship Warranty
Every installation and repair we carry out comes with a lifetime workmanship warranty that lasts as long as you own the vehicle. That covers things like:
- Water leaks that trace back to how the glass was fitted
- Wind noise caused by a fitting fault
- The glass pulling away from the vehicle frame
- Adhesive letting go under normal use
- Stress cracks that stem from the installation
Glass Product Warranty
The glass we fit is covered by the maker's own warranty, which usually looks after:
- Manufacturing defects in the glass
- Delamination or clouding between glass layers
- Defects in heated elements (rear demisters, heated windscreens)
- Issues with factory-fitted rain sensors or other integrated features
Warranty periods differ from one product to the next. We only fit quality glass that meets the relevant Australian Standards (AS/NZS 2366).
Chip Repair Warranty
Every chip we repair is warranted for the life of that windscreen. If a chip we have repaired:
- Spreads into a crack from the repair point (rather than from a fresh knock)
- Shows the repair resin has failed
we will either redo the repair at no charge, or put what you paid for the repair towards a full windscreen replacement.
What Is Not Covered
Our warranty does not extend to damage or problems caused by:
- Accidents, impacts, or collisions
- Road debris, stones, or flying objects
- Vandalism or attempted theft
- Natural disasters, hail, or extreme weather events
- Improper use or abuse of the vehicle
- Modifications or alterations made after installation
- Normal wear and tear (minor scratches from wiper use)
- Stress cracks from structural damage to the vehicle
- Pre-existing damage not disclosed at time of service
ADAS Calibration Warranty
Our ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration is warranted against calibration errors for 30 days from the day of service. If a warning light or system fault linked to our calibration shows up in that window, we will recalibrate at no extra charge.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you think something is covered by warranty, here is how to go about it:
- Get in touch by phone or email and tell us what is happening
- Give us your details including your name, phone number and the date of the original job
- Send a few photos of the problem if you can
- Pick a time for an inspection that suits you, since we come to you
- We take a look and let you know where you stand on warranty
Warranty Claim Process
- Raise your claim within a reasonable time of spotting the issue
- We may need to inspect the vehicle to work out what has caused it
- Anything covered will be put right at no cost to you
- If it falls outside the warranty, we will beat any written quote for the repair
Transferability
Our workmanship warranty stays with the original customer and cannot be passed on. It holds good for as long as you own the vehicle we worked on.
Your Consumer Rights
This warranty sits on top of your rights under Australian Consumer Law, not instead of them. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure you are entitled to a replacement or refund, plus compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
